Comments: Per the 1985 Survey: 1139 Laura St. is a two-story frame vernacular residential building. It embodies the historic and architectural qualities of the Springfield neighborhood through its period of construction, its design, its historical associations and its integrity. Constructed 1905, it was originally owned by George W. Parkhill, president of the Inland Water Transportation Company.
